AMD is reportedly developing their latest GPU product, the Radeon RX 6900 XTX. According to reports, the Radeon RX 6900 XTX GPU will have very high performance, even surpassing the current fastest GPU.
AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT currently has two variations, namely a standard variant featuring a Navi 21 XT GPU and a binned variant featuring a Navi 21 XTXH GPU. These two variants are known as the Radeon RX 6900 XT.
And for the latest AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT GPU, AMD combines the Navi 21 XTXH GPU with faster memory. With this combination, the report reports that this GPU could have gaming performance that surpasses NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3090.
Perfomance Radeon RX 6900 XTX
The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XTX is said to be featuring a total of 24.93 TFLOPs with a boost clock speed of up to 2435 MHz. The current Radeon RX 6900 XT has only 23.04 TFLOPs with a boost clock of 2250 MHz, which means the RX 6900 XTX has 8% better performance.
For the second Change comes in the form of memory. The AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT is rumored to be getting 18 Gbps of memory with a higher bandwidth than the 16 Gbps G6 chip they currently use.
This GPU will retain the capacity of 16 GB of GDDR6 memory but will have an increase in bandwidth to 576 GB/s, which is a 12.5% increase over the previous generation.
With this change will definitely have an impact on GBP. The existing Navi 21 XT based reference model has a TBP of 300W. At the same time, the RX 6900 XTX is expected to have a TBP of around 350W.
Reportedly, it is still unknown when AMD will release this GPU. But most likely, AMD will prepare a water-cooled version of the Radeon and a conventional cooling version
