Sharp recently re-launched their latest android smartphone, the Aquos R7, in Japan. This Aquos R7 is the next generation of the Aquos R6 smartphone, which was already present in its home country in May 2021.

Performance
For performance, the Aquos R 7 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The Aquos R 7 smartphone is supported by 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and smartphone storage memory with a capacity of 256 GB. And for users who want to add, also add 1 TB using the available microSD slot.
And for the battery, the Aquos R 7 is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphone already runs the Android 12 operating system, which is covered by the Sharp custom UI interface.
Aquos R7 Design
Design, Sharp Aquos R 7 is equipped with metal materials available in Black and Silver color options. For the screen, the Sharp Aquos R7 has a 6.6-inch IGZO OLED screen. The screen is capable of presenting a 240 Hz refresh rate, 2,000 nits light brightness, supports 10-bit color depth, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
As for the camera, the Sharp Aquos R7 is supported by the German camera manufacturer Leica. With Leica camera technology located on the rear camera of the Aquos R 7. The camera consists of a 47.2 MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.9 19 mm focal length which is capable of supporting video recording with quality up to 8K.
And the camera on the Aquos R 7 is claimed to be able to detect facial, body, and eye movements in real-time, thanks to the octa-PDAF autofocus feature. The main camera on this smartphone is also paired with a 1.9 MP portrait camera. Not to forget, there is a 12.6 MP selfie camera placed on the front of the device.
Aquos R7 Release Date
Sharp Aquos R7 is also equipped with IP68 certification, which is claimed to be able to survive in water depths of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. As for the price, there is no information, and the availability of the Aquos R7 is still unknown. According to the leak, the Aquos R7 will be released exclusively in Japan in July.
