Cooler Master recently launched their first mini LED monitor product, the Cooler Master GP27-FQS. The Cooler Master GP27-FQS monitor features a 27-inch 2K display made by AU Optronics, a screen manufacturer from Taiwan.
The Master GP27-FQS monitor comes with a mini LED IPS panel with a resolution of 2K (2560 x 1440 pixels) which technically can be called QHD. This display Cooler Master GP27-FQS uses quantum dot technology that allows it to produce an ultra-wide color gamut including 100% Adobe RGB, 97% DCI-P3, and 83% BT2020.
As for the design, this monitor with a slim design has a contrast ratio of 1000:1. However, by using the 576 local dimming zones of the LED mini backlight. The contrast ratio can be further increased up to 10,000:1. And the Cooler Master GP27-FQS has a brightness of 600 nits. Which can be increased up to 1200 nits in HDR mode. And comes with DisplayHDR1000 certification.
And game-oriented specs, this Master GP27-FQS Mointor has a refresh rate of 165 Hz along with a response time of 1 ms. This monitor also supports Adaptive-Sync via FreeSync Premium. Master GP27-FQS is also comfortable to look at with the Low Blue Light feature.
The Cooler Master monitor is also equipped with multiple ports, including two HDMI 2.1 ports. And one DP 1.4 port (with DSC support), as well as one USB Type-C port with USD-PD 90W support, one USB Type-B port, and two USB Type-C port.

The monitor has a pair of 2-watt speakers. And on the Master GP27-FQS monitor, there is a monitor stand that offers tilt, swivel and height adjustments and supports a 100 x 100 mm VESA wall mount. The GP27-FQS monitor retails for $699, which is quite affordable for a mini LED display.
