Galaxy Chromebook Go price, release date, specs see the news

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Chromebook Go. A 14-inch Chrome OS branded laptop was produced to be a mobile workstation. Equipped with Intel Celeron N4500, 8GB memory, 720p HD webcam, the specifications are quite simple. Some say the Galaxy Chromebook Go also offers LTE connectivity, making it a solid choice for those working at home or on the go.

Most people could argue that Samsung’s main focus is productivity. Being able to quickly make Zoom calls, check email, and/or collate documents while on your phone is key.

The Galaxy Chromebook Go should be capable of that as this type of activity doesn’t put too much strain on modern computer hardware. You don’t need a powerful CPU to send spreadsheets, for example. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t other facilities as well.

While this Chromebook’s 14-inch screen won’t wow anyone, it’s sufficient for streaming purposes. Its thin and light shape makes it easy to carry from home to the library/Starbucks and back. And Chrome OS keeps your important information safe with regular updates.

For now, Samsung has not announced the price of the Galaxy Chromebook Go. According to moderate specs, we predict this laptop in the $300 range, going higher or lower based on which version is purchased — choosing the LTE version with the larger storage and memory size will likely cost more than the Wi-Fi variant that uses the basic option.

Release date of the Galaxy Chromebook Go

Furthermore, Samsung has also not revealed the release date of the Galaxy Chromebook Go or when the seller will make it available for purchase. You can expect that info to appear on Samsung’s main website along with the world’s Best Buys, Walmart, and Amazon.

To explain again, this laptop is an entry-level Chromebook. You won’t be able to get the Galaxy Chromebook Go’s integrated innards to run Call of Duty: Warzone games anytime soon. For power, it is powered by Intel Celeron N4500 Processor and is paired with Intel UHD graphics. It will be able to run some office-based programs.

The Chromebook Go could also do a decent job in the storage department. She is expected to get 32, 64, or 128GB of eMMc storage. There is also a port for a MicroSD card, in terms of memory available between 4 or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Chrome OS is quite fast with fast boot times and fast web browsing. 8GB is enough.

From a design perspective, the Galaxy Chromebook Go is slimmer. Silver in color, this laptop weighs 1.45kg and has slim dimensions of 327.1 x 225.6 x 15.9mm. It has a 14-inch TFT HD (1366 x 768) display, a backlit keyboard, and multiple ports — two USB Type-C, one USB 3.2, 3.5mm Headphone/Mic jack, microSD, and Nano-SIM slot on the LTE version

Lastly, the notable features are the Go 720p webcam, stereo speakers, a 42.3Wh battery, and a 45W USB-C charging brick.
