This Vivosmart 5 smartwatch comes with a 66% increase in screen size from its predecessor. And for dimensions, the Garmin Vivosmart5 is now supported with a screen size of 10.5 mm x 18.5 mm. The screen has a resolution of 88 x 154 pixels. As such, its OLED panel offers more text display than the Vivosmart 4.
The larger panel also means that the touch screen is easier to use. The physical buttons on the Garmin Vivosmart5 are at the bottom of the screen. For information, there are no physical buttons on the Garmin Vivosmart 4.
For users of this smartwatch, they can replace the Vivosmart 5 strap with the strap of their smartwatch of choice. The smartwatch battery will last for 7 days. This battery life will be reduced by the pulse ox sleep tracking function.
The Garmin Vivosmart 5 smartwatch is perfect for swimming and can store activity data for up to two weeks. In addition to pulse ox and sleep tracking, Vivosmart 5 also offers heart rate monitoring, SpO2, and other health and fitness features. However, there is no GPS module in this device.
