Huawei has recently re-launched their newest laptop product, the MateBook 16 Ryzen Edition and the Windows 11 OS in China. This Huawei MateBook 16 Ryzen is the same configuration as last year’s matebook, but this time it has a cheaper price for the lowest version.
Design
As for the design, the Huawei MateBook 16 Edition is the same as the previous variant, the new Huawei MateBook 16 measures 351 x 254.9 x 17.8 mm and weighs 1.99 kilograms. And this Huawei MateBook 16 Ryzen Laptop has a 16-inch IPS display with super-thin bezels all around. Which allows it to deliver a 90% screen-to-body ratio.
While the screen, the MateBook 16 Ryzen Edition, has an IPS panel with an aspect ratio of 3:2. And has a resolution of 1680 x 2520 pixels, pixel density of 189 PPI, 3:2, 1.07 billion colours, contrast ratio 1500:1, brightness 300 nits, 100% RGB colour gamut, and 178-degree viewing angles.
Huawei matebook 16 Performance
Performance, MateBook 16 Ryzen is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 5800H and Ryzen 5 5600 H. Both offer AMD Radeon integrated graphics, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, and 512 GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage. And this laptop carries the Windows 11 operating system. And it provides support for multi-screen collaboration to connect Huawei phones with MateBooks.
For the battery, the Huawei MateBook 16 Ryzen uses a lithium polymer type with a capacity of 84 Wh. This Huawei MateBook 16 Ryzen laptop has a full-sized keyboard equipped with a fingerprint scanner and a large touchpad. Other features include stereo speakers, a pair of microphones, two USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone and microphone combo port, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi 6.
Price
This laptop comes in Haoyue Silver and Deep Space Grey. The two MateBook 16 variants are priced at $908.22 and $978.09, respectively.
