LG recently re-launched their newest gaming laptop product, the LG UltraGear 17G90Q. LG seems to be getting serious about entering the laptop market. After introducing the LG Gram line of laptops, they have now prepared an UltraGear 17G90Q gaming laptop.
LG UltraGear 17G90Q Performance, Screen
For performance, LG will pin the best specifications for this one laptop. They will use the latest generation of high-end Intel processors combined with NVIDIA RTX 30 series GPUs. In this gaming laptop, the LG UltraGear 17G90Q is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Tiger Lake H CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card. Users will also get 32GB of RAM and 1TB of NVME SSD storage.
As for the screen, the LG UltraGear 17G90Q laptop will be equipped with a 300Hz refresh rate and an IPS panel display with 1080p resolution. Users will get a 93Wh battery, RGB keyboard, fingerprint sensor on the power button, and a 1080p webcam.
The South Korean company will use aluminum for the casing of this laptop. As for color, they use a mix of gray and purple that is different from other gaming laptops.
For the RAM capacity, consumers can choose the LPDDR4 RAM option of 16 GB or 32 GB. While the storage is using an M.2 NVMe SSD with a capacity of up to 1 TB.
In terms of connectivity, this LG UltraGear 17G90Q laptop is equipped with 1x USB 4 Gen 3×2 Type-C with USB-PD and Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-C, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2×1, audio jack 3 .5mm, HDMI, Ethernet and microSD slot. This LG laptop is also equipped with a fingerprint reader on the power button, a Full HD webcam with dual microphones and IR camera for Windows Hello, Wi-Fi 6 with Intel Killer Wireless, stereo speakers with DTS X Ultra, and a steam room cooling system.
Release
As for the price, this gaming laptop has not been officially announced, but this laptop will go on sale in South Korea, the US, in early 2022. LG also said it would announce more details about this laptop at CES on January 4.
