HP has a line of laptops and 2 in 1 intended for business people through the ProBook series. And this time, we had the opportunity to test those who have the complete ProBook x360 435 G7 series, armed with the AMD Ryzen 4000 series processor. This processor itself offers good performance but is still efficient in terms of power consumption. We will discuss this later by testing the battery.
This device has a minimalist design with a silver color. The design is appropriate and suitable for workers and business people who don’t need a “weird” design but still look elegant. Most of the body is wrapped with aluminum which makes it stronger. The HP ProBook x360 435 G7 itself is claimed to have received the MIL-STD-810G endurance test certification.
From the name of the series, x360, you can guess that this device is a 2 in 1 or convertible laptop with hinges that can be bent up to 360°. With this hinge, you can use the HP ProBook x360 435 G7 in four modes. You can position it into tablet computer mode by folding it fully, stand mode with the keyboard as a base, tent mode, which is positioned like a tent, and of course, standard model as a laptop. These four modes are suitable for various needs, such as presentations, collaborating, watching movies, drawing or writing with the help of a stylus.
For specifications, the HP ProBook x360 435 G7 is equipped with AMD Ryzen 3 4300U
The screen is, of course, a touch screen and already uses an IPS panel. The screen also supports multitouch. The resolution itself is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels or Full HD and has been given anti-scratch protection from Corning through Gorilla Glass 5. From the design side, the screen still has thick bezels on the top and bottom sides. So, although the screen frame looks large, the panel size is only 13.3 inches. Thanks to the IPS panel, the HP ProBook x360 435 G7 screen looks sharper. However, thanks to the coating used, the screen is more sensitive to reflections, both shadows, and light.
For specifications, the HP ProBook x360 435 G7 is equipped with AMD Ryzen 3 4300U which is the lowest processor for this 2 in 1 series. Meanwhile, the highest variant uses an AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processor. As a 2 in 1 for businesses that focus on productivity, this 2 in 1 relies solely on AMD Radeon RX Vega 5 Graphics integrated graphics. For the main memory, the HP ProBook x360 435 G7 uses 8 GB of single-channel DDR4 which means it can still be added to dual channels.
