Polar has launched its latest Smartwatch product, Grit X Pro. This Grit X Pro smartwatch is the next generation of the Grix smartwatch, which was launched in April 2020. Polar launched this device designed for people who like adventure and use a smartwatch that is suitable for travel needs.

Design
In terms of design, this premium Grit X Pro outdoor smartwatch comes slightly heavier than the previous version of the Grit X with a weight of 79 grams. Instead of a layer of Gorilla Glass glass, this latest model uses sapphire glass as a protector. And the size is still 1.2 inches with a resolution of 240 x 240 inches like its predecessor. This screen can be seen clearly even when viewed in sunlight.
Battery
And the battery life of the device is also still the same as the Grit x series, which is 40 hours on a single charge when using full GPS and active heart rate tracking. There is also a power-saving mode that provides up to 100 hours of use. Reporting from New Atlas (13/10), the battery can last up to 7 days when in standard smartwatch mode.

And this device has been tested with MIL-STD-810G endurance standards. The Polar is claimed to be able to survive in water to a depth of 100 meters, can be operated at temperatures up to minus 20 degrees Celsius or high temperatures up to 50 degrees Celsius.
The smartwatch comes with a new route profile, as well as turn-by-turn navigation, a Hill Splitter feature that automatically records all climbs and descents, and a TrackBack mode that takes the user back to where they started. There’s also a new navigation dashboard showing a barometer-based altimeter, location details, daylight duration information, and a digital compass.
