Tecno has launched their newest smartphone, the TECNO Spark 8 Pro. TECNO Spark 8 Pro Present in a neighbouring country, India. This smartphone features several features such as large screen dimensions, entry-class gaming chipsets and large batteries. TECNO Spark 8 Pro itself comes together with the cheapest series belonging to TECNO Mobile.

Interestingly, this time without a 90Hz refresh rate, the resolution has increased from HD+ to full HD+ with a pixel density of 395ppi. So that the displayed content will look much sharper than before, plus the windshield has been protected from fine scratches.
As for the camera sector, the specifications are more or less the same, at least on paper. The front camera has an 8MP resolution and is equipped with two flashes – its position is now moved to the centre. On the back, there is a 48MP f/1.8 PDAF primary sensor with two secondary sensors whose primary function is not mentioned directly. And both sides can record video up to 1080p.
TECNO Spark 8 Pro Performance
In terms of performance, the TECNO Spark 8 Pro runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core 12nm chip, which actually brings a minor improvement over the G80 series. However, TECNO embeds a software upgrade through the Super Boost feature, brought from HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11. It is claimed to be able to provide an increase of up to 40%.
In addition to a more spacious RAM capacity, the TECNO Spark 8 Pro is also equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery. If the previous series was without fast charging and still using the old school port, now both have been ‘corrected’, where the port is already USB-C with 33W fast charging support. The charging process is much faster, reaching 90% in 30 minutes.

And this smartphone is still not equipped with NFC—for that, and consumers should choose the TECNO Spark 7 NFC, which is much cheaper. Comes in three colour options (Komodo Island, Turquoise Cyan & Winsor Violet). And for the price, the TECNO Spark 8 Pro retails for $140.66, starting to be available in India on January 4.
