Vivo was previously rumored to be re-launching their latest smartphone, the Vivo X80. Vivo X80 smartphone is coming this month in China. And according to the information, there is no official statement that Vivo will launch its smartphones such as Vivo X80 Pro +, X80, X80 Pro.
Screen Performance (Rumored)
The Vivo X80 and Pro series screens will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED E5 curved edge display. The former supports Full HD+ resolution, while the latter offers Quad HD+ resolution and LTPO support. Both X80 series support a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,500 nits brightness, and an ultra-slim in-screen fingerprint scanner (ultrasonic on the Pro model).
And for performance, the Vivo smartphone will come with the Dimensity 9000 chipset. This series will offer up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The X80 will likely have a 4,500mAh battery, while the X80 Pro will feature a 4,700mAh battery. Both devices will be equipped with 80W fast charging technology.
For the Vivo X80 camera, it will be equipped with a 32 megapixel Sony IMX616 camera for selfies. The rear camera setup of this smartphone is predicted to come with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 main camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto/portrait lens with 2x zoom support.
Vivo x80 Camera
As for the rear camera, the Vivo X80 Pro smartphone will have a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 main camera equipped with OIS, an ultrawide lens, a Sony IMX663 portrait lens with 2x optical zoom and gimbal OIS support, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598, and an 8-megapixel periscope. For the telephoto camera with 5x zoom and OIS support.
And the X80 and X80 Pro smartphones will also come with other features such as 3D Schott glass protection for front and back, VC 4,300mm2 liquid-cooled immersion plate, dual stereo speakers, and NFC, x-axis linear motor, IR blaster, and IP53 (X80) / IP68 rating (X80 Pro). And Both x80 series models are expected to run on Android OS 12 and OriginOS Ocean.
