Vivo has launched its newest smartphone, the Vivo Y21. This time Vivo launched the Y21 with a cooler design. After a long time of releasing devices with mediocre designs, Vivo has finally presented a pleasant refresh through its newest entry-class Vivo Y21 series.
The Vivo y21 processor is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, another form of the Helio G35 series. With the option of 64/128GB of internal storage, users can take advantage of the Extended RAM feature, adding 1GB to 4GB of RAM, bringing the total to 5GB.
Design Vivo Y21
While Design as a whole is made very similar to the Vivo V21 5G, starting from the camera module with (as if) three cameras, patterned color options, to the side frame and rear body that are made completely flat, it has a thickness of only 8mm and weighs 182 grams.
Vivo Y21 was launched in two color options, namely Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow. When the first color is more muted, the second color is given an effect like a diamond. Both use an anti-glare coating, so they don’t get dirty easily. While the fingerprint sensor is located on the side, the main option other than using the front camera is through face unlock.
Camera
What has not been updated is only the front screen display. Not yet using a punch-hole, the Vivo Y21 still comes with a waterdrop notch design. The dimensions are quite large, reaching 6.51 inches, with full HD + resolution plus special protection so that your eyes don’t get tired even if you stare at it for too long. It seems to have become a mandatory feature in the latest Android smartphones.
For this smartphone camera, there are only two sensors that work. In addition to the 13MP f/2.2 main sensor, there is a 2MP sensor that functions to take photos of close-up objects. But don’t worry, portrait mode is still available via digital processing. While for the selfie camera, the resolution is 8MP, and the Vivo Y21 also has beautified panorama, live photos, and even professional modes.
Battery and Price Vivo Y21
This Vivo smartphone is also embedded with a hardware-based cooling system, even though the Vivo Y21 is not a smartphone specifically for playing games. The Y21 carries a 5,000 mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging and reverse charging, plus uses a universal USB-C port.
The operating system used by Vivo Y21 is the latest FuntouchOS version 11.1 based on Android 11. In addition to a cleaner appearance, this interface also brings features such as Ultra Game Mode. Can focus on chipset performance for games, activate Do Not Disturb mode and picture-in-picture mode. For the price, Vivo y21 starts from each 64 GB memory variant selling for $187.73, and for memory selling for 128GB for $208.58
