Vivo Y32 to launch: Performance, screen and price


Vivo will launch their latest smartphone product, the Vivo Y32. This Vivo Y32 smartphone first appeared on TENAA at the end of last November. The list of phones on TENAA was then updated with all its specifications in early December. A few weeks from that, the handset is now finally official in China.

The newly presented Vivo Y32 smartphone looks like a premium smartphone but has a glossy plastic coating. Its dimensions are 164.26 x 76.08 x 8mm, weight is 182g. And Vivo Y32 is available in two color options (Harumi Blue, Foggy Night).


Y32 Performance, Screen, Price

For performance, this  Y32 Smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. And in fact, this Vivo Y32 smartphone is the first in the world with the aforementioned chipset. And it is also supported by 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. If needed, the storage can be expanded up to 1TB via the MicroSD card slot.

As for the screen, the Vivo Y32 is equipped with a 6.51-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels (HD+), 16.9 million colors, and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The display has a 1500:1 contrast ratio, 89% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio, and a dew point notch.

And this Y32 camera has a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup on the back. Meanwhile, an 8MP camera is present in a notch on the front. For connectivity, the device is equipped with dual-SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS), a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has all the essential sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass, proximity sensor, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Vivo Y32 runs OriginOS based on Android 11 and draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. As for the price, the Vivo Y32 retails for $219 in China. Vivo has yet to reveal its availability. As of now, we are not sure if and when the smartphone will hit the international market.
